If you were wondering who "Matilda" is - - - - - - - - - -
Matilda was a kitten that was born to a stray and feral cat about nine years ago. She was rescued by the legendary Muskrat Jack of Monmouth and Ocean Counties in New Jersey.
Lisa remembers calling Muskrat Jack to trap Matilda's mother to have her spayed and returned to her outside territory. Jack did capture her, but he told Lisa that he had to release the mom cat because she was nursing kittens, and he would try again in several weeks. To make a long story short, the kittens all found good homes, and the mom cat was spayed, received medical care, was returned to her territory, and fed daily. Matilda, who was adopted by Lisa, is a wonderful and sweet cat, and because of this, Lisa named her web site after Matilda.
