--1994 Exhibit--
Lisa Imbriglio held her first public art exhibit in May of 1994 with 25 pieces of art. The exhibit was held at the Wall Library in Wall Township, New Jersey. The artwork from this exhibit is characteristically colorful and entertaining. Some of the works were designed to look like stained glass windows.
The art is created with mixed media including crayon, ink and acrylics which are applied to drawing paper. A texturing process is also used so that the resulting artwork resembles a piece of parchment covered by crayon wax. The art also gets polished and is somewhat shiny.
This 1994 collection of art was designed to be bright, cheerful, and lighthearted with a degree of fantasy. We hope you enjoy this collection created over 14 years ago. Please check back as we add more art from the 1994 collection, ---and we thank you for visiting the Matilda Art Gallery.
